So, the picture Fox News used for the article To be happy, we must admit women and men aren't 'equal'?

Yeah, it's a lesbian couple: Lela and Stephanie (scroll down a bit, second picture).

I almost spat out my salad.

Score for the lesbians, I say.

It makes me happy when lesbians beat Fox.

Even aside from the choice of picture, that Fox News article is so stupid it makes my eyes hurt.

That is also true. I will admit that in this case I did not give myself the headache of reading it. I scanned a little, watched part of the video with a little of my attention, and decided to ignore the rest for my sense of sanity.

I don't know how I cope with all the burdens of having my own bank account, renting property, earning a wage without a man to tell me what to do.

Also, definite score for the Lesbians

I honestly don't know how you cope, either. I think you must be my new hero.

Great score for the lesbians. Only, when I clicked on the article link, I didn't see the pic you mentioned. Perhaps they've changed it.

Or I could ask my husband do look for it. Surely he's better at doing things than I am?

Hahaha, yup, when I saw it people hadn't started to notice yet. A few hours later there were online articles about it so it must have got back to Fox and they changed it.

There's a screen-shot here with a bit of pointing and laughing.

But, yes, you'd best ask your husband to do it. Everyone knows that part of the difference in gender--written into our very DNA, of course!--is that men are better at sitting on computers and finding lesbians.

(That was not at all a slight on your Lord S, I add, and only at the article. :P )

Oh my god. I felt actual bile rising up in my throat when I read that article. THOSE DARN FEMINISTS, MAKING EVERYONE ALL CONFUSED.

Score for the lesbians indeed. :DDDD

I actually didn't read the article. :P I may have to at some point but I just knew if I read it yesterday I would have got all angry and rant-tastic so I didn't.

I love lesbians.

Ugh that article made my blood boil. "THOSE FEMINISTS! The thought of other people being happy their way and not my way makes me so confused and unhappy!!!" The lesbians are a 100% improvement, though.

Agreed on the lesbians. Thankfully did not read the article--and am now a bit glad I made that decision. It would have made my blizzard experience 100% angrier.

The article is fabulous for it's potential to be mocked and refuted. I'd love to oppose her at a debate tournament. I think the author is a bit confused as to what counts as proof of a claim.

"Men and women may be capable of doing many of the same things, but that doesn’t mean they want to. That we don’t have more female CEOs or stay-at-home dads proves this in spades." Hmmm. The numbers of people holding certain jobs doesn't really indicate that they don't want to. A survey might be better for that. Everyone doesn't have a job with a $50,000 salary so clearly those people who make less must not want to be making money.

I also love how scientific she is. "Each gender has its own energy that flows in a specific direction." Not even a nod to the genetic information encoded on X and Y chromosomes and levels of hormones. Though I actually think I prefer it this way. Seeing science be abused would be painful.

Actually, never mind, it'd be exhausting to have to pick it apart paragraph by paragraph. Maybe we were better off before women wrote articles for mainstream news.

Ahahhaha, yes, that does sound exhausting in the end. :P Aaaah, yes, flowing in a specific direction; that's definitely how my gender works for me.

Maybe we were better off before women wrote articles for mainstream news.
You must surely be right there!
