I haven't been much for updating on my life lately. I'm still not at the moment.

Except to say that today I realised my computer clock was set a day behind and, until realising that, did not understand how firm my belief was that my computer's time would never lead me astray. Sad day. But I'm in the correct time-stream now and it means that the event I thought I had tonight is actually tomorrow night, so I get tonight for more faffing about. :D

Now I bring you a random picture my friend took of me and posted to Facebook with the description "Power Lesbian":

Nice and blurry with frizzy hair. That's apparently how I look when I go to the cinema. (The little cloth hanging between my legs is a shawl that I tied around the strap of my bag.) And there is a little rainbow, just so you can know it's me.

The only picture I have at the moment since I haven't been very social lately.

My little brother has also given me his old desktop computer so I can finally game (er, play real Sims, instead of just Facebook Sims) and have New And Improved ways of avoiding my life. I love my family.

Pandora also just started playing a song I love and had forgotten about ("What I Am" by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians). Time to get back to some research, to-do list stuff, cleaning, meditating, whatever else...

That is an AMAZING pic!

I haven't played the sims in forever. Well, okay I did play some sims 2 castaway on my sister's ds at Christmas (I think it was Christmas anything more than a few weeks previous tends to blend together).

Awwr, thank you muchly darling. :D

I get addicted to Sims games for a bit at a time. It's often a week on and a week off, or something of that sort. I didn't even know there was a Sims game for DS! I don't have a DS, so I'm terribly ignorant of that platform.

My neighbour just got two new Sims games and has told me that she'd be happy to let me borrow one, so I'd really like that. Especially if she brought her laptop up and we both played separate Sims games!

(She'd probably hear me groaning things like, "Oh, bugger, no--not another dead in the bathroom! Can't you die somewhere less in the way? Your bed, for instance? Pleeease! OH GET THAT SOCIAL BUNNY AWAY." Sometimes it's funnier to be bad at a game, honestly. Like the time I put an easel in front of the phone and the house caught on fire. Errybdy ded.)

I think I shall need to play it again at some point.

Sims 2 Castaway is a bit different. You can stuck on a fairly deserted island, and you have to collect stuff, be friendly with the other people stuck there, collect/grow your food, and ultimately try to get off the island. There's a pretty high crack level.
