Rec rec rec. Aaaaah this fic.

So, I like leaving comments--it makes me really happy. Sometimes they get a little long.

For this fic, I have 4 comments of squee. Boarding-school setting. So many of my absolute favourite characters either with large parts or with supporting cameos--rich cast either way. Hilarious. Epistolary. Superb and spot-on characterisation. Completely and utterly worth reading--and then perhaps again. Subtext and subtle queerness/(fem)slashability and Boarding School/Regular Crushes--but it's gen, which for me makes it all the more glorious. Strong female friendship, camaraderie, power, and community.

Title: "Raven's Honour"
Characters: Minerva McGonagall, Rolanda Hooch, Pomona Sprout, OFC, assorted HP-Universe cameos
Rating: PG
Warnings:
Word Count: 10,800
Summary: From the prompt: "In the 1920s, three close friends open a school for girls in the Scottish Highlands. Non-magical AU."

Link in the title there. I got tummy-butterflies, laughed out loud, got giddy, smiled 'til my face hurt, and fell in love with all the characters deeper and deeper. It's wonderful--go read it! :D

(I've never wished for a boarding school schooling or teaching job so much in my life.)

(ETA: Ahaha just realised I doubled the comments on the entry by myself, at time of posting. I excel at succinct, let me tell you.)
