  • Mood:
I leave my house at arse o'clock tomorrow morning to get to the airport (thanks to my mother the saint) and fly to Orlando, where I will be meeting up with lash_larue again and then eventually zofbadfaith. I'm very excited. (: (I also haven't taken a domestic flight in longer than I can remember--travel without passport, what a thought! Oh, I suppose there was getting from Chicago to Boston, but that was part of an international travel home. Domestic flight alone, then? Actually, I'm not sure I've ever taken a domestic flight alone; here's to new experiences!)

All packed up. I'll admit it's a little funny watching a New England girl all in autumn hoodies and flannels pack for Florida. I kept eyeing my hoodies as a form of apology.

Supposed to be sleeping now (was supposed to be sleeping at 10) and was treating this like a high school night, but then I realised I never could get myself to bed in high school, either. So some-time-past-11 it is; there can always be coffee in the morning.

Tomorrow is also Minerva McGonagall's birthday (one of the few I always remember), so here's to you, Minerva!

I probably won't be online much for the next week, so I'll just have to catch up on all the glorious samhain_smut goodies when I return. (; Please do comment away for me! (Especially since I'm already behind, what finishing my reading of hogwarts_houses.)

This post is also left in hopes that I am kept safe in my travels tomorrow (seems mean to kill me on McG's natal anniversary!) and on the 12th, if I forget to make a post for it (come on, universe, my life is a blink of the eye by your timeline; surely a plea a week in advance isn't too inconveniencing--please?).

Best wishes to all of you and please keep well! ♥
