Here's my second ever fest fic - sort of a postscript to In Memoriam, which now makes me laugh. Second fic in a row written for tetleythesecond. Realised that one reason I never got around to responding to comments back when it was posted at springtime_gen was because quite a few people mentioned 'Not So Mysterious Author' and they weren't the people who would have known who I was - tetleythesecond, therealsnape and kellychambliss. I was thoroughly confused. Despite the confusion then, time to give the story a little bit of air!

Title: Postscript
Fandom: Harry Potter
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Character death
Type: Gen-femslash
Wordcount: 6,546
Characters: Amelia Bones and a host of others
Summary: A woman sat in a chair. It wasn’t a terribly exciting occurrence, certainly not from a Muggle perspective. What, they would wonder, is so unusual about an old woman sitting in a chair?
Disclaimer: This is a fan-work and I do not own the material recognisable from the original works. This is not for profit and no infringement is intended.
Notes: Written for tetleythesecond for the 2010 springtime_gen fest. More coven fic, really.

Now time for some housework. Ah well.

They say goldfish have no memory; I guess their lives are much like mine and the little plastic castle is a surprise every time. And it's hard to say if they're happy but they don't seem much to mind.

If I had to pick my favorite of your stories (no easy task), this one would probably be it. Just beautifully done.

Thank you! I have to say I agree. It makes me a little feel a little uneasy, since it was the second fest story and it's hard to live up to. Thanks again for the kind words! ♥

Such a great story! Agree with Kelly.

Thank you! I agree with Kelly, too. Let's just hope that, some day, another killer prompt can come along and stretch me to a similar feat. (Actually I hurry to correct that: 'perfect' prompt, rather than 'killer', for I don't want to have to kill off great witches every time I strive for excellence.)
