Jacqueline and I were eating in the den and decided to put the telly on as we ate. She cycled through and I saw Room with a View, which caught at my memory but did not alert me to how. Then I thought of Maggie Smith...

A moment ago:

A voice: "Yes, thank you dear..."
Kiwi: "Maggie Smith! She is in this film! Score for Kiwi!" [Slaps her knee.] "By the voice, of course..."
Jacqueline: "You're dedicated. She did like these sorts of films, didn't she?"

Back to my day, which is still young... (Though I'll have to watch this again at some point when I can watch it from the beginning and when the audio/video is aligned properly.)

They say goldfish have no memory; I guess their lives are much like mine and the little plastic castle is a surprise every time. And it's hard to say if they're happy but they don't seem much to mind.

Room with a View
I quite liked that movie long ago. Good book too. Might be kind of sappy to me know, but ... I liked it ; ).
