This post is brought to you by some post-revision eye-rolling. (Thank goodness we all have to do extra reading for the exams anyway, because the lectures are all blurry pictures, diagrams or screenshots from websites [including Wikipedia].)

Harry Otter and the Deathly Shallows
Harry Otter and the Deathly Shallows

This is some random dude on the left, my boss from summer camp in the black and yellow, Tara the goofy witch (she used to work at Stony Brook, threw us our staff part and had two children in the camp) and finally the otter on the far right is Monarch, a colleague from summer camp and also Clover's boyfriend. (Clover visited here in late February.) I pretty much think they are some of the most adorable people ever and am so pleased to have met them through last summer.

Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep
Meryl-Mirren Magic

No amount of societal squabbling can convince me this isn't beauty at its finest. Elasticity is over-rated; this - strong, intelligent women in smiling friendship - is beauty.

Now my ponytail has been replaced and my hair is pulled back in a hair-stick bun. Dearest universe, that indicates I mean business. Just so you know.

(Also, when I say exam revision is depressing, I don't just mean the act itself - I mean revising for ecology exams is depressing. Think of all the issues out there in the world from rising global populations to cancer and hunger to dwindling resources and global warming to species going extinct and habitats disappearing. Good. Now throw them altogether into my course and shazzam, here I am, revising them! Depressing. That's what I mean. Well, and the other one.)

They say goldfish have no memory; I guess their lives are much like mine and the little plastic castle is a surprise every time. And it's hard to say if they're happy but they don't seem much to mind.

I feel slightly embarrassed that all I'll remember from this entry is Helen Mirren's cleavage. *sigh*

No one here should blame you for that. :Þ I can't get Meryl's expression out of my mind.

(Somehow I've become more of a face person than a cleavage person...? Or perhaps always have been. Talk about strange.)

Well, you could argue that all you see of Meryl in this photo is her face, whereas all you see of Helen... Also, that lady in the background looks a bit jealous...
