Phantom Weekend Syndrome, hello.

It's Monday. That means work. This week we have the kid who pretends to be a dinosaur when overstimulated (I generally say 'Dinosaur' to avoid the name-speak).

Dinosaur gets overstimulated inside. It is raining. It is supposed to rain today, tomorrow and Wednesday.

We are allowed to go out in the rain - only thunder/lightning prohibit us. However, how enjoyable has that ever been with a pack of complaining spawn-creatures? But then there is Dinosaur.

Sigh. Suffice to say, I don't want to go to work today.

I want to go meet the woman in my icon instead, see what could come of that... Little grin.

you SO need to get better at lying to children.

Clearly you need to go on a "raindrop fairy hike."

After all, raindrop fairies only come out when it's raining.

Oh haha, it's not at ALL a question of trying to get the KIDS outside - most of them went out on the rain hike today - but more of the counsellors not wanting to have to go outside in the rain just because one of their kids can't be around other children. Especially because the kid still acts up outside and then the counsellor is outside in the rain with an obnoxious child and 3-6 other annoyed children (not at the rain, but at the obnoxious camper). So it's highly unpleasant! But we got through today. We'll get through the next few.
