Toast and Willis' new place is killer. I was over the rainbow. We watched Sigourney Weaver. Well, we watched Alien, but I watched Weaver. Goethe's garments she's hot.
Today at the plant nursery the worker saw me with my ukulele and had me serenade her. She raved. It was hilarious and I was very chill, which surprised me. Usually the idea of performance makes my toes do a jig and run off 'til I feel like falling over. Clearly I'm getting more used to this.
The meal at the Willis' was fantabs. Can't believe Kyle will be moving up here in autumn with a KID - gods, he's like 18. Crazy. And that the father and Crazy Christine are moving to the Philippines. But mmmm for bbq chicken, potatoes and corn. I did the happy-food sway-dance.
Realised today that half my wakeups for camp are the same time I used to get up for high school. Bummer. And the weekend feels as short.
But this one was excellent, so I'm thankful for that. Jojobird arrives on Tuesday. I'm still in shock.
This week at camp I have the one camper with an IEP and who, when sensory overloaded, runs around roaring like a T-Rex. I'm a bit frightened. We'll see how this works out.
