"An Interesting and Difficult Woman" by
"The Rest of the Mornings in the World" by IJ's lyras. Horace Slughorn/Cornelius Fudge. I am generally not one to read slash, but I promised that through beholder I would open myself up to more fic. I am so very glad I did. This story is excellent. It's hurt/comfort at its very best. Slughorn and Fudge become believable characters in a way they never were to me in canon. I actually became invested in them, their pasts, their present and their future as they did.
"Revolution and Betrayal" by IJ's curia_regis. Peter Pettigrew. Alas, a story that brings me an understand of Peter and his evolution as a character! This story brings light to Peter's story. It rouses sympathy without condoning or excusing or hiding his behaviour: each step into darkness is accounted and the pain behind the action is explained. Highly moving story! Lucius, as always, is a devil dog.

That's all from me for now! I'm sure I'll have various recs later - lots of HP at first, I'm sure, then who knows: maybe some Grey's, Glee, random fandoms...a nice variety, I hope. (;
