I love how my compromise with myself when I REALLY don't want to go in somewhere (especially after an all-nighter, although not the case now) is to wear jammies under my outfit.

I am so going to need a new coping strategy when I have a job.

Unless I end up a writer someday.

Then it'll be, "I really don't want to get up and write. I really don't." Pauses to consider. "Alrighty, writey in bed!"

Oh, that.

Itinerary: 1) 20-minute bike ride.
2) Animal Behaviour: 2-hr lecture AMS LT.
3) [Possible] bike-ride to bank to pick up some cash & check that PIN number was sent.
4) Library for reference collection for plant science.
5) Library for any further misc. work.
6) Library for writing! (Total possible library time: 3 hours, minus bank.)
7) Buddhist Meditation Society: 1.5 hours, probably. Regretfully no ride home because...
8) Bike ride home.
9) Probable stripping of first layer, hop into bed. Poss. 1-2(3) hours.

Can get through. Can get through. Yessss!

That's one of the many reasons I want to write for my living. Bed is a happy place where writing is entirely possible! It's a wonderful thought.

Good luck getting through today. I hope the nap is a weirdly good motivator :D

Bed is a very happy place. I pretty much spent my whole weekend in bed, occasionally going downstairs to socialise. Then, I was socialising in bed too - on the Internet! I keep reminding myself that if I meet and like a girl who also enjoys spending loads of time in PJs being creative and lounging in bed, I'll have found my roots. :P

Naps are always weirdly good motivators! Especially for procrastinators. Angel halo...

Thanks! I'm so glad I learned this trick in high school. So comfy. :P Was easier when I used to wear baggy boy jeans, though! Wearing PJs under those was just like wearing long boxers or something!

I guess you can always find a job that suits you. I think you would enjoy being a writer..

I know my job has nothing to do with that, but my schedule is perfect for me. I work from noon till 6 so I can sleep in and still have my evenings mostly free. To each their own.. and I can wear jeans a hoodies to work.. isn't it great!

Yup. :) I'm sure I'll find jobs that suit me. I would enjoy being a writer! Although I'm sure I'd go mad with the hassles that come with it, just like any other writer. :P

Your schedule does sound perfect! Jeans and hoodies are great, too! I wonder what I'll do out of Uni. I'm hoping I can work up in the place I used to go to camp at, learn some vegan cooking and go to workshops. We'll see what works out. :D

yeah, no need worrying too much about the future, what's best will happen and hopefully you find the right fit for you ;)

are you vegan?
Kiwi Crocuscranky__crocus on February 13th, 2010 03:37 pm (UTC)
Nope. :) I'm sort of a fake veggie. Someday I'd like to go veggie or vegan, when I'm around people who can teach me to cook well that way. Probably when I'm back and settled in the States with some hippies. :D

To do lists FTW!

And if you do become a writer, I shall text you to get out of bed. Although....we shall probably both get distracted over twitter to actually do any work!
