Teh Kwii's Kweh

  • Ah like more than 75% done uploading the first video I've posted in a way long time. D: Rawr. I hate my shoddy wonky voice sometimes.
  • I'm going to try to pass out now after three more videos on my YouTube. Doing them takes a lot out of me. Hope they're good. Sweet dreams.
  • I really hate the times I'm afraid to leave my bed/stop sleeping because my brain tells me it means I have to face the world... =/
  • When I have a house and animals, I am going to train my dog to respond to Harry Potter spells. My life will be amazing.
  • Plan: work on stuff all day. Reality: play around on MysteryGoogle. Oh, my life. I am so full of fail.
  • There is something very clearly not right today. I just ate cold potato & leek soup and a banana for dinner. I feel incapable of work.
  • I AM AN INVALID. What do I do about this? Stop being a whiny priss? Yes, I think so, but how? Rawr.
  • Hello, waterworks. Hello, total PMS. I am ready to have a little break down. I should get my overwhelmed tears out soon. Then hopefully work
  • Sexy time next door. Can't decide if I'm jealous or just happy for them. Definite sexy time. Definitely happy for them.
  • Although jealous that they're getting to do something a whole heck of a lot more fun than working, like I am. Better than Mario Kart.

And that's a wrap, folks! Kupokweh!

That is a brilliant beyond brilliant idea for cues to train a dog. Practical too since it won't be a word the dog will hear three thousand times a day. Which ones do you think you might use?

Depends on the intelligence of the dog. I'll list them as if I'm training, oh, not a pug. :P

Accio - retrieve something.
Alohamora - push open a dog for me (Muggzzey does it sometimes, although not intentionally).
Avada Kadavra - play dead.
Expelliarmus - drop it.
Locomotor Mortis or Petrificus Totalus - Stay. The prior if teaching the dog 'freeze' (I know some who know freeze) otherwise either.
Tarantallegra - dance.
Wingardium Leviosa - 'up' or any variations of standing.

Ones for 'down' (like 'get down' not 'lie') 'sit' and 'lie down' could be found easily, I'm sure. Or adapted. Or created from Latin, given that's where JKR takes most of hers. :P

Love it! You're so clever in turning the spells into actions.

I really like epelliarmus since Drop it is so often growled by the humans.

I also know they're incredibly long, so I would teach the regular easy commands, especially so other people could still handle my dog if they weren't HP nerds like I am. :P

One trick for teaching long strings of words as commands is to just teach the last word as the command. Like for Locomotor mortis, teach mortis, and it will look the same.

I'm glad that's what my brain thought, then! Perhaps someday. Or maybe I'll go try to train my brother.
