Dear alarm:

I hate that your existence in the world is to wake me up. I suppose I should be grateful that you (potentially) get me where I need to be on time, or at least do your part to let that happen. I still do not appreciate you interrupting my sleep. I like sleeping in. We can fault me for that given that I don't like GOING to sleep, and thus am always behind. I think I need to start using you as a Sleep Alarm - when you go off, I need to go to sleep. At least then it would be a more even love/hate relationship.

Love slash hate,

It is 12.34 (fave time!) and I am still in bed. I should be downstairs finishing breakfast and getting on my bike. I am not dressed.

HOWEVER, I have incredible news. My Bird Census report was pushed back a week and is now due the 27th instead of the 20th. That makes me a happy Kiwibird.

So, with my joy I should clearly get up, stretch, put clothes on and go into campus. Hmm.

What sucks even more is when your body gets used to the alarm clock, and will wake up a minute before the alarm starts to ring, while you lie there staring dejectedly at your ceiling. FML, really.

\o/ Thank God for extended due dates in reports.

That happens to me way too often. Definite FML.

I really should start working on that report. :P
