Writer's Block: Opposites attract (sometimes)
In general, do you find yourself more attracted to people with similar or different interests, life experiences, political beliefs, and religious backgrounds? Do you think having some common interests/goals is essential for a successful relationship?

I am attracted to incredibly similars and incredibly different, in the middle a little less. Strange, right? But I think I'll last longer/better to similars.

So I spent like a half an hour being mopey "no one will ever love me; I'll never love anyone the right way; I can't play the ukulele; my voice sucks and I'm drowning in words and work."

Then Lyshia brought back the 5 KILOGRAM JAR OF NUTELLA! So we had a huge nutella party with pictures and videos and celebration and laughter.

We are now watching Bridget Jones' Diary and doing fondue with Nutella.

I am enjoying this immensely.

Also, failing at work, but today feels too good and holiday-y right now. Still need holiday icon.

Lyshia asked "Who here thinks Hugh Grant is hot?" Matt shot his hand up and I did the full palms-up shrug, so we looked at each other and laughed. There are also two couples in the room sitting close to one another, then me and Sass. Sometimes our lives are sad. But not really. :)

Ok, I just got myself a Nutella sandwich, thank you. :D

HUGH GRANT IS HOT. He's just... incredibly charming, amirite?

Mmm Nutella sandwich. :P Those are good.

My friends have attempted making Nutella brownies. That is a quality experiment!

Haha, I guess he's charming? I don't know, I was focusing on Renee!

The last two sentences of this reminded me of wellness, reminded me of reminders; thank you.

Upon re-reading, the last two sentences reminded me of similar things. Thank you for providing new eyes! :)

I do hope I get to see you again this winter! I haven't spoken to Snoopy and I've spoken to you through the entire term. I am afraid of the word 'weird' in this situation, because it doesn't feel weird, but it does feel different. I feel very close with you despite the distance and often pause between our responses.

Just different, right? We are all connected in this way. I hope I get to see you too! I'll be around, surely, in January.

Just different. Connections ebb and flow, but can stay strong with the strings between us even without communication.

I'll be around some of January. I come back Dec. 16th. What time do you get out?

I'll be around for a few days after the 16th - finals and all that. And then after January third.

Maybe I should try to visit during the post-final celebrations, although then everyone's packing up and ready to go home. You're back at Smith after January 3rd?
