Rainbow || Rainbow northern lights.

(no subject)

Muggzzey doesn't understand why using the Internet in bed requires so much moving and knocking about (I just rolled over). I just reminded him in hugs, cuddles, and kisses that this is my bed; I think the message will hold. (I am considering taking up with the Oxford comma again, now that I don't have English professors [as in, nationality] circling them in red. I will do just about anything to avoid being red-circled, even if it means changing regular usage in my life, so the Oxford comma and I split ways in 2008. We shall see how this reunion goes.)

Something that amused me from the Oxford/serial comma Wikipedia page:

The differences of opinion on the use of the serial comma are well characterized by Lynne Truss in her popularized style guide Eats, Shoots & Leaves: "There are people who embrace the Oxford comma, and people who don't, and I'll just say this: never get between these people when drink has been taken."

I can't say I disagree. However, that's not what this post is supposed to be about, so I must be off to a brilliant start. This post will be random and probably a little senseless (since I have a fatal case of The Tired) but will hopefully go toward my To Do List, provided that I include the Zoë Lewis concert and don't fall asleep on my keyboard. I shall get cracking now. (For the record, Zoë is pictured in my icon; there is another picture linked in the post.)

So that is my long entry on the Zoë Lewis concert, which was a positively glorious winter gift from my parents. I haven't listened to the two CDs much yet--haven't got them down on my iPod--but I'm sure that will occur soon and that I'll have them memorised in not too long. Same with the two Barbara Phaneuf CDs, hah. I love wonderful, wise, whimsical, witty women!

I was going to leave a few points about my last few days but I think I'll hold off on that again. I guess if I think this is long, I'll be crossing my eyes by the time I finish my entry on Rowe/Jenne! But it will have pictures, which will hopefully help.

Night night, sweet dreams! ♥
