So, I'm thinking of signing up for this fest, but don't seem capable of choosing my own prompt - peculiar, I always could before.

However, if someone else were to throw some of those prompts and character/pairing ideas at me...well, I may well be willing to join up. (:

Feel free to lob some prompt/pairing/whatever ideas at me! If not, that's all good too. :D I'll still have MinervaFest to work on this summer. Probably a good idea to put more effort to working on my dissertation rather than writing fic...

But what properly sane person ever chose the 'good' idea over the better one?
Current Mood: exhaustedExhausted.

My friend Eve occasionally dabbles in Harry Potter reading. We have been discussing HP fandom on and off throughout the day. We just finished a discussion on Molly Weasley.

She said the best thing ever. Her statement?

"I sort of feel that Molly's version of a rebellion would be putting pineapple on pizza."

For the record, putting pineapple on pizza IS more difficult than killing Bellatrix Black. :P

Edit: We have decided that my dissertation is a combination of Transfiguration, Herbology and History. You know, if I had to know such things. My degree would be Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, some dreaded Arithmancy, pessimistic Divinations, ancient Runes (as a joke on old texts and government forms) and some limited Transfiguration.

Clearly proper evening conversation. We are now discussing the different properties of Transfiguration as a science.

Kiwi = geek.
