For now I'm going on a little livejournal hiatus as far as reading my flist goes.

Probably just until the end of November, possibly until after December 1st or even 11th/13th. I'll probably still be posting, though, and occasionally getting around to answering the messages that build up in my inbox for various sites.

But! If you really want me to read an entry of yours (and I will be happy to!) just let me know by comment/PM/email/message something and I will gladly do it! I just have many friends and communities on my flist, and if I look I'm tempted to post, so sometimes it's better to just not look.

I'm sure I'll catch up afterwards though. I'm always good about catching up on livejournal. :)

Thank you for the support, loves! Here's to times of Busy!

I got to 35,000 words tonight from 28,000 words.

It's evenings like these, when I write 7,000 words in an evening because I don't like facing the idea of not doing something that I know I can do, when I feel powerful and me. I can do all of this. I really can, and I shouldn't have the audacity to doubt myself - me of all people, doubt myself, when I have proven over and over that I get through all this. And I get out of it what I put in. I get a lot back. I learn a lot, even when my marks aren't perfect. It's all a learning process and I'm learning.

I feel happier having had some Kiwi Writes time, like back in high school. Reminds me of the 10,000-word nights. Not quite as impressive.

But I did write 7,000 words in 4 hours, and that DOES make me happy. :)

Night all! Tomorrow I go to campus to get a paper to summarise and present later in the term, pick up my big poster paper, hopefully go to Zoë's for Rocky Horror and hopefully stay over for a girls' night in. :) Then Wednesday for evolutionary biology and more work!
