It is entirely bizarre that my first ever lunch break comes the day after I find out I'm laid off.

Incidently, I've also discovered I don't like lunch breaks.

They seem entirely pointless.

And I'm even eating.

Back to work in five minutes. Groan. But only until 5, and then I'm free.

  • 16:55 Wicked long meetings RULE even if part of the time I'm getting ripped. Because, hello, work time with no working.
  • 17:20 @thinkingxbeing Your rumbly stomach does not remind you to leave for lunch? How peculiar! Grin, yes, meetings are great time consumers.
  • 09:11 I am here for what is possibly my last real day and I was told to take a lunch break some time today. Sure, I guess. Hope this goes fast!
  • 10:20 I am going to go insane. Really I am. Happy last day not really possible at a job never adored.
  • 11:09 I managed to hit 2 hours. That's good. That's only, like, a regular work day left. Sigh on bad work environments with no inspiration.
  • 12:55 I have lunch break in five minutes. But how long do I get? This is weird, having my first lunch break the day after I'm laid off.
  • 13:36 @thinkingxbeing Once more, I envy your after-work acticities. I will be doing laundry, being tired, and attempting to pack.
  • 16:00 I am exhausted and almost passing out on the phone, so I think I won't stay as late and will just take the 7 hours rather than the 7 1/2.
And that's a wrap, folks! Kupokweh!
