The birds were singing slowly, softly. Almost reluctant to admit that the sky is steadily lightening. Now they are singing with more intensity, fully prepared to greet the day and the flights to come with it. Two have just glided past the window using minimum wing movement.

It's very early morning on Tuesday the 24th, and now I go to one of the places I call home (because home is inside of me, and goes where I go).

Goodbye, birds. You have treated me wonderfully. Thank you for being such kind hosts and hostesses. I will be so very pleased to meet you once again.

More than a week ago I said goodbye to the birds around my house. I was happy to see that they weren't saddened by my parting, and I don't doubt they didn't wonder at my absence. I will be pleased to greet them all the same.

I'm going home.

With new knowledge, new heart-songs, new stories, and new thoughts, I'm going and taking home with me, for now.

I'll see you all later tonight, I'm sure.

I manage to butcher things up so magnificently sometimes it's a wonder I'm not a Master of Mistakes.

So I'm going to sit here mumbling about good intentions gone wrong, and keep myself from being sick.

I can be such an idiot sometimes. But I know I didn't mean to do anything wrong, and that I messed up TRYING to do the right thing...or my idea of the right thing...and I only spoke the truths of the moment. I didn't lie or anything. I just can't read what I said because it's gone.

And I'm so nervous my whole stomach wants to exit my body.

Oh, gods. I'm a teenager. Proof is right here.

Edit: Winamp, why did you have to put on "Goodnight Elisabeth" by Counting Crows as the first song when I put you on?

I don't ever want to lose her for stupid things I say in the name of Honor. Ever. And I will fight for the right to remain in her circle of friends, if I have to...but I never want to do that, either. I never want to have to fight. Not for something like that.

Thankfully, I don't think I'll have to.

I'll make a more specific entry later, loves.
