Pottermore
I joined up on the 16th or so, I think--whenever I saw it open to public (thanks to my Potterhead campers). I've stealth-friended some of you, but I'm removing the stealth factor now:

I'm RiverMidnight23214 (because it reminds me of River Song and I too frequently stay up past midnight).

I haven't actually done anything with it yet since while peroxidepirate was here I found the first two British-edition HP books at The Shire (great used book store) in wonderful condition. I thought it'd be a great opportunity to read along with the Pottermore experience, even if most of the pleasure is just finally getting myself into that re-read I've been planning for years at this point.

That, and I don't want to be Sorted yet. The chorus of this song I've yet to write keeps going 'round my head...I may force myself to write and play it before I get Sorted.

Just thought I'd let you all know who I am. I'm sure many of you are already bored with it. (: I don't mind being late to the party!

I've been on it for ages(or at least it feels that way).

I'm SunNox29, which I enjoy since I have been known to get physically sick from the sun and often complain that it's too bright.

I want British copies of the HP books (along with quite a few other things).

I have a couple in Spanish, which I can read, and one in French, which I don't yet read. I got them at library book sales. Camera secreta and Prisonnier D'Azkaban are in wonderful shape. Pierda filosofal(sp?) is greatly used. I want a full Spanish set, eventually.

One of these days, I will have an amazing library that has all sorts of amazing books and translations.

This has been my dream book for awhile. I know I'm weird. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=264794698&searchurl=kn%3Dharry%2Bpotter%26sortby%3D1%26x%3D58%26y%3D15 Yes, it's a $40K book, but it's haunted me quite a bit in how much I'd love to own this one. I know that it could never live up to the way my brain plays with it and that it would have to be on permanant loan to a library collection, but it's an arc of a Harry Potter book(and one of my favorites in the series at that).

I was sorted into Gryffindor, which completely shifted my frame of mind. I'd always viewed myself as a Ravenclaw, but I can see the other way now that I think about it.

This comment kind of went crazy on me. Sorry.

I would like SunNox too, for the same reason. (:

I can't read Spanish or French, so no point in my getting those yet; I'd love to be able to read Spanish some day. I really enjoyed taking the two-semester college class back in high school.

Darling, please stop thinking I'll consider you weird! I am the least likely to ever consider someone weird, truly. And that looks like an amazing copy of the book to have. I know I'm pleased enough to have one of the first copies of Eragon that went out to bookstores, pre-final-corrections, and I'm not even as big a fan of that series as I am of others.

Teehee. Yay Gryffindor! I'm hoping I don't get Sorted there, though I wouldn't ever hold it against the people who do, primarily because the books were so Gryffindor-focused that I'd really like to be somewhere else.

And again, please don't worry about your comments! They're lovely! My comments head toward the long side all the time; long comments are fun to read and respond to. They start conversations. They're lovely. (:

I've added you; I'm LeviosaWomabat126. And that bookstore looks amazing.

Thanks! Added you back with a nickname. :D

And yes, zomgz, that bookstore is so fantastic. It's like falling into a Wonderland of reading. Sure, it doesn't have everything and I sometimes get peeved with the organisation (no young adult section, which always makes finding the books I'm actually looking for difficult), but it has this assortment of odd couches and seats and reading stations. One even has a fake hearth. It's just adorable. And upon walking in, the woman who works there comes out and offers tea.

That place makes me happy as a Hobbit--which is cool, since it's called the Shire.

I'm FlightDust177 I think... not that I can even remember my password...

I don't use Pottermore much. I did stay up several nights that first week trying to gain early access - more for the satisfaction of knowing I did it (one last chance to be a crazy fan). However, even on a fairly new Macbook it's pretty slow, and I don't have much time for it; I'd rather read the books. That's a good idea, though, re-reading along with the site. Maybe I'll try it when I've free time this summer.

I'll get back on and add you if I can remember my password!

Hahha yeah I still haven't even started much despite that I now have time and a copy of the first book I want to be reading, so my level of inspiration must be limited... :B

Nice to meet you too! And now I've added a nickname, so I'll remember which one is you. (; I still need to get myself to go further in Pottermore, haha. I've sat down and read the first two chapters/done the first two sections, but I haven't gone further since it feels like such blatant procrastination when I know I should be cleaning in preparation for my move! :B

(That, and I'm still unsure about this whole Being Sorted thing, haha.)
