Haven't been updating much on my actual-life lately, I've realised, although I am in possession of one. A life, that is. It's a bit unorthodox and random...but you've all met me in some capacity, so that should be no big surprise.

But I don't come bearing life!talk, really. I come bearing more pictures, because I've been on a tumblr binge again--just two this time.

I just found the colours so rich, and her expressions so perfect... I love seeing her in a moment of concentration, especially as this great actress applying/touching up her own make-up.

I have the tendency to be a bit hard on make-up (or at least the abuse of it, as is so rampant among my peers), and I live my own life primarily naked-faced (as my friends and I occasionally call it), which is why I was so surprised to love that second picture. Both of them are beautiful to me in different ways, with a little overlap. I love stills.

So I just thought I'd share!

Now back to whatever I'm doing. My friend and I planned a tea-in-the-park/evening-walk-around meeting for tomorrow starting at 2.30 because we both acknowledged that we're "not morning people" (so true, so true). Instead, I am now waking up before 7, driving to pick up the people I'm house-sitting for, bringing them to the airport, heading back home to pick up my mother, bringing her to work, doing something for a few hours, giving two horses some hay/doing some mucking, going to get my hair trimmed, and then heading to Providence for my friendly adventure. And here I set the appointment late so I could sleep. Hah! The universe laughs at such things. :B

Those are gorgeous! I want that jacket!

I want the whole outfit! I don't care that I'm 22; I'd wear it!

(My friends--especially my gay male friends [which I just typoed as my 'gale' friends]--are always policing the outfits I want to buy. They're forever saying, "No, Kiwi, you can't buy that: you'll look like an elementary school teacher. You have to wait at last two decades, preferably three."

Sometimes I even listen.)

The rest of the outfit is amazing, but that jacket is sublime.

Those friends would probably cry over my wardrobe. It's is in a horrible state of confusion, and the outfits I'd own if I had the money probably wouldn't make them much happier.

:) I'm sure your outfits are lovely.

What should age have to do with how one dresses (I know that it does, but it shouldn't - ja?)?

I prefer buying outfits without having much money. :B I love going thrift-store shopping! It makes me very happy.

Well, I certainly have interesting outfits; I'm not sure how lovely. :B

I think in some ways age should affect dress - like, no ridiculous mini skirts on seven-year-olds - and some things certainly look more fashionable on certain ages, but it really should be up to the person. (: Though when business etiquette comes into it... *Shakes heads and laughs.*

Most of my clothes have come either from clearance racks or thrift stores, so they tend to be odd and/or look like something a homeless person would wear.

I think with the age comment I was implying as an adult. I probably should have said that.

Most of my clothes come from clearance racks/thrift stores (or clearance racks from thrift stores), but I can't say most of it looks much like a homeless person would wear. :P

Gotchya. There is certainly clothing that tends to look most flattering for different age groups, but everyone should be able to decide, as long as they're fitting whatever etiquette their environment requires! (Requires as in workplace-like, rather than requires as in social pressures. :B)

:) I tend to wear simple clothes until they fall apart. I've been trying to nice up my wardrobe(which within my budget is a neat trick), but some of my clothes look like I've been sleeping on the L.

Yeah, people should be able to wear what makes them comfortable when they are on their own time without feeling pressure to wear some clothes and not wear others.

These pictures are a wonderful find! I have never seen one with her applying make-up :-)) I hope you don't mind me snatching it up for damemaggiedaily ?

I don't mind that at all! I'm very flattered, in fact, and grateful to have found something for you to use in such a way!

Keeping busy!

I am so not a morning person either.
