I don't know if you lot have seen these (etsy store here), but they're adorable and literature-positive, so I thought I'd share my find.

Some ridiculously cute mini-book jewellery! They do custom book covers, too! (:

Like this neat John Green mini-book bracelet. :D

And now back to doing things. Really.

Aww, these are great! I love the ASoUE bracelet! ♥

Oh, yes, I loved those when I saw them!

Now I'm sitting here wondering what process they follow to make them. All these wonderfully crafty things people do!

*Grins.* When I saw the Hunger Games ones, I did think of you! :D

My god. I could easily spend all of my money ordering miniatures of every book I own... they're so squee!
Kiwi Crocus: Lesbians || Boots.cranky__crocus on March 6th, 2012 11:19 pm (UTC)
Right?! And I love that they can also be purchased with just the little charm-ring, which makes them useful for just about anything. Could sew them onto things, tie them onto things, make bookmarks out of them.

Endless possibilities. (Also, I'm obsessed with bookmarks, and I think my level of squee would break my dog's hearing if I ever made a bookmark with a tassle that was actually a mini-book. Especially if it were a book I read all the time, enough to buy a mini-book of, so that my bookmark was the book I was reading in miniature.)

But I can't think on that too long because, like you, I would soon end up with far too many mini-books and far too little money. :P

They are super cute. I've seen similar on Etsy as well... Etsy's a dangerous place. Heh.

Oh, yes, Etsy is an incredibly dangerous place. Especially when I put in things like "rainbow" (being a huge fan of rainbow myself) and then scan through everything, drooling progressively more each page. :P

Why oh why have the holes in my ears closed?! I want such a book! :)

Great find Kiwi.

Oh no! Does that mean it's time for a re-piercing?

I have three holes in my left lobe. Previously I was wearing belly-piercing rings in all of them (they're thicker and twist on, so they don't fall out as often); recently I took out the first belly-ring and replaced it with a regular earring, so I can wear some of the regular earrings I have. Now that tempts me to buy something! :B

Yep, I want a re-piercing. However, they've closed because I became allergic to the metal, so I have to wait till I feel strong enough that it's worth spending money on gold or platinum rings (I like them big and striking, so they're not going to be all that cheap)

Your left ear will be quite 'decorated' then. It should look great, especially with such a book! :-)

Ahhh the allergies, yes. That makes sense. I tend to be allergic to lesser-quality metals, too; when I first made the switch back to regular earring I made the mistake of using a lesser earring. That didn't go over so well. Now I have a better-quality earring in and it has healed up/stopped being painful. Usually once my piercing is fully healed (and I haven't just changed the shape of it), I can get away with wearing a lesser earring for a day--sometimes a few, if I take it out at night (I usually just sleep with them in).

*Grins.* My left ear is always quite decorated. At some point I still intend to get the cartilage on my right ear pierced (it was always the intention), but I've yet to get around to it. Probably because I'd have to get it professionally done, whereas I just had my friends do my lobes (they're far easier and less dangerous).

Freaking cute! The things you'd find on etsy!
