NaNoWriMo: National Not Writing Month
Dratted Kiwi,

Please stop giggling at me for the sock on my head. You put it there.

I personally think it's incredibly rude for you to laugh at the apparel you have chosen for me. I happen to believe that fuzzy-blue is absolutely my colour and I am enjoying my new head ornament very much.

If you're going to wake me up to put a sock on my head, at least have the decency to acknowledge that it looks fabulous. Your giggles are unappreciated. My new hat and I are going to sleep.

Snuffle-and-snort,
Muggzzey

P.S. Don't go thinking I've forgotten that you put your bra on your head when you're extra stressed. There is picture proof; don't make me go mean. I'm a pug, it's against my breeding.

So, queen_of_snapes asked me the other day if I had ever posted pictures of my pug (given I speak of him enough when I'm home). I realised that I haven't in years - long enough that I wouldn't be able to think back to where I should check entries for one.

Today I bring a few pictures of Muggzzey and his fabulous little hat. (Okay, so we wouldn't think a somewhat dirty sock is a fabulous hat, but he loves socks.)

Mugz and his new hat:

"Mum, I know this sock didn't appear from thin air. I'm lookin' at you."

"Blaming is exhausting. I'm just gonna close my eyes, just for a second, then go back to looking long-suffering... *SNOOOORE.*"

I have a feeling this is not what queen_of_snapes was expecting. But this is my dog, regardless of the foot apparel on his head...:B

Also, yes, he is available for snuggles. His ears feel like velvet and he has the softest head in the world. He also grumbles if you kiss him on it.

That's so adorable. It almost looks like an oversized bow in a weird way. :)

*Grins.* You're right!

I've folded some of the blanket over on him, now, so he's extra happy. (He loves to be covered. When he comes to bed with me, he nudges at me until I lift up the blankets and let him go under. I call it his 'cave'.)

D'awr, glad you think so! ♥

And yes, I did change it on a lark yesterday; I changed my profile around, too, but forgot to mention it on LJ. I'll have to remember to put it in my next post. (: Thank you for noticing - and for your kind words! Glad you like it!

D'awr at your cyoot icon!! He's a fun little one with the best personality. Teehee, pugs do totally look like grumpy old men. :P Sometimes he acts like one, too, all adorable and grumbly.

HE IS SO FLUFFEH.

I want to hug him and never let him go, omg >_
Kiwi Crocus: Dog || Dog-tired.cranky__crocus on November 15th, 2011 11:29 pm (UTC)
Hahahah! "Fluffy" had never come to mind before, but yes, I suppose he could be considered that! :D

I frequently hug him with the intention of never letting go. He's not so fond of that last bit. He prefers a few snuggles and then my letting him under my blankets so he can cuddle up against my legs/back/stomach.

I have a feeling that if I read this comment out loud he would look up at me and go, "What?" I have a tendency to say his name at random and emphasise random sounds. :B

For me it's InNoWriMo: International Not Writing Month. Still no idea how to approach Hoggy.

Your dog looks cute, but I can't honestly say I like pugs; they look to me like a dog designed by a comitee: one person decided on the face, another on the body, a third one on the size and the forth was the person who ordered too much velvet for wrapping around the finished product, but it was expensive velvet so they used all of it and just folded here and there to sew evetything together.

On the other hand, our dog is too short (hight) for his length, has a stupidly cut tail, his front legs look like sailor's (this <> shape) and his hind legs look like exactly the opposite (like this ><). So who am I to judge??? The most important thing is we love them to bits.

Now go write something. You know you want to.
Kiwi Crocus: Dog || Face lick!cranky__crocus on November 15th, 2011 11:35 pm (UTC)
I haven't even started on Hoggywarty. One thing at a time at the moment.

I didn't like pugs until I was forced to pick between a few small dog breeds and pugs seemed the best of the list. They do look odd, though; we call them "living stuffed animals". Apparently they were once bred to look like humans - I certainly don't see the resemblance! :P

I actually like their size, though. They're not dainty and delicate like a lot of other small dogs; many of them are shaped like mini boxers, really, except with those owners who let them get super fat. I love the little wrinkles and nose. :B And I certainly can't complain about the velvet, because it's one of my favourite parts! I could sit for hours and just stroke his ears.

Loving them to bits is certainly the most important part. (: I still consider myself a medium- to big-sized dog person, but I now acknowledge that I would be completely willing to own another pug as well. They're really lovely. At least, Muggzzey and many of the others I've met have wonderful personalities and altogether make great dogs.

I'm writin', I'm writin'. (; (I'm trying to get through 10 emails after every 500 words I write.)
