My experience upon arriving home, in pictures:

Wrong part for drinking, Kiwi.
This is my "tea may not be enough to get me through this" face. However, all is fine, because I still have some leftover coronation chicken baguette (from my picnic) to get me through. And some ice cream in the freezer. It will get done!

Kiwi pretends to be productive.
Then I decided, alright, it's time to be productive.

Kiwi, lists don't count!
...so I made a list. (This is also an example of my lists for kellychambliss, to prove that I make wonderful lists when I am pretending to be productive.)

And that is what I intend to do for the next...long while. You know, after I finish painting my nails and watching this episode of True Blood... (It was a long list to write!)

P.S. Why does LJ have a 'productive' mood but not a 'procrastination' mood? I feel LJ would probably benefit more from having the latter...

I am currently going through True Blood to prepare for the upcoming season.

Around here we refer to it as the "screaming and screwing" show.

But I like it anyhow.

Hahahaha that received a definite 'laugh out loud' moment. "Screaming and screwing show" - I completely agree! But given one of the characters screaming and screwing is played by Kristin Bauer, I could watch it for a very long time.

I think I'm on season 3. When does the upcoming season start?
lash_laruelash_larue on March 28th, 2011 11:09 pm (UTC)
"Summer 2011", whatever that means.

Kristen Bauer is surely something. There isn't enough of her s&s'ing though. And she's bi, which is a point in her favor as far as I'm concerned.

My personal crush is Jessica.
She looks like an older version of Alexis Castle, ("Castle" tv show) who I think is possibly the most beautiful human ever.

The Sookie Stackhouse books are worth reading if you like the show.

I hate the 'summer 2011' line.

Kristin Bauer herself is bi? That would make her playing a lesbian character that much cooler.

Jessica is really really pretty. I think my main ship for the show is growing to be Jessica/Pam. (Although Pam/shoes, Pam/chains, Pam/anything also work.)

My friend was reading through those books this year I think and told me they were good, but she's also a Team Jacob Twilight fan, so it's nice to hear it from you too. (: Perhaps I will pick them up soon!
lash_laruelash_larue on March 29th, 2011 12:44 pm (UTC)
I misspoke, Pam is bi. Dunno about Ms. Bauer.

Nice icon...

Oh, does Pam hook up with a guy during the show?

And can you believe what really drew me to this one is the hair?

LJ doesn't need a "procrastination" mood. The fact that one is on LJ is proof that one is procrastinating.
Kiwi Crocus: Rainbow || In all time.cranky__crocus on March 28th, 2011 11:15 pm (UTC)
This is true. Although I still wish they had one, because it would make choosing a 'mood' so much easier for me a lot of the time - and if I wanted to go with something else I always could, but procrastination could be a backup. (;
kellychambliss: MMSSHighTablekellychambliss on March 28th, 2011 11:45 pm (UTC)
It's a most impressive list indeed, my friend. I have never managed a rainbow color-coded one myself.

Nice mug. Take that any way you will.
Kiwi Crocus: Text || Keep calm and...study?cranky__crocus on March 31st, 2011 01:15 am (UTC)
I suppose I could put the rainbow to good use in actually coding them by tasks (a colour for university, cleaning, leisure, pure procrastination [those go on the list too], etc.) but mainly the rainbow is just to motivate me. That and it's a legitimate reason to keep my pens in rainbow order on my desk, so it serves a function beyond being pretty to my way of seeing. :Þ

And thank you for the mug comment; it brought about a smile. (: (I saw that mug in the charity shop and couldn't not buy it. Think it'll do for an exam revision mug, bring me some Hermione Energy? I'm hoping so.)

LOL! Love the pic of you with the mug in your teeth! I love your rainbow list, too. I'm not that creative with my procrastinating. ::g:: But, I'd say you you need to rearrange your priorities . . . 'go out and have fun' really ought to come as a reward for cleaning three bathrooms! XD But then, it probably ought to be on multiple places on your list (simply for more effective procrastination). You'll have to post this after you've checked it all off!
Kiwi Crocus: Rainbow || Create your rainbow.cranky__crocus on March 31st, 2011 01:24 am (UTC)
Hahaha love that icon! I've always enjoyed that phrase. (:

Glad you enjoyed the mug picture! I've just realised how tired I look in it! I look 'hello may I sleep for a week?' exhausted! Not sure I would have put it up if I'd noticed before. :S But regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it!

I have to find creative ways of procrastinating or I feel too guilty to continue. :3 Which one might think would get me to stop procrastinating, but that is not the case, for I either sit and stew over guilt or I move onto creative procrastination. Occasionally I just stand on my head and wait for the world to seem ridiculous enough that I can function in it again.

*Giggles.* I tend to have Hermione-like priorities: 'we could have been killed! Or worse, expelled!'

Now I have less bathroom work to do since Pirate and his mother cleaned the first one before he left - so I'll just do the floor and basin, probably, maybe the walls if I can reach. I would put 'going out and having fun' as a reward multiple times except that in many cases it's exhausting for me, so it's a bit of a task even if it's enjoyable. Some of the other things (letter-writing, television [which I haven't added yet], editing) are often pleasant 'stay in and have fun' activities. So I promise, I'm getting enough reward. (:

Teehee. It'd just be a bunch of rainbow strikes if I ticked it all off! Unfortunately I doubt I'll get it all ticked off on the real list - by the time I've done most or nearly all of a list, it's pretty much full and I need to start a new one with the old tasks I hadn't finished! I think I've only actually finished a TDL (to do list) once or twice. It's hard!

Those are awesome pics!

Can't wait for Grey's musical ep!
Kiwi Crocus: Lesbians || Bench sitting.cranky__crocus on March 31st, 2011 01:26 am (UTC)
Thanks!

I can't wait either. It definitely helped inspire me to get through my dissertation! As soon as I realised it aired the day after my deadline I was like 'oooh this is going to be one heck of a motivator.' And indeed, it motivated me so much that I didn't use my 2-day extension because I wanted so badly to have my dissertation in the day before Grey's!
